Shea Krug- Optician Shea is our optician. Originally from this area, she traveled with her family settling down in North Carolina where she grew up. Shea moved back to this area in 2018 to find more opportunities to build her career. For the past 7 years, she has worked in a variety of customer service positions. She enjoys working with our patients to help them find the specific type and style of glasses they are looking for. Shea regularly attends church, and volunteers as a counselor at the Bible camp she attended as a teenager. When she’s not at work you will find her traveling to visit her family, out with friends, or staying in to work on her hobbies.
Practice History
Dr. Samual Cox opened Cox Vision Center in 1997 in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Allyson Bohlman joined him January 1998. After working together in the Roan Street office for about 10 years, an opportunity presented itself for a move to a better, more convenient location. They formed a business corporation called TrueLight Eye Care and opened for business in August of 2008. The practice has a much better curb appeal and location and has been growing ever since the move. TrueLight Eye Care has gone through many changes over time in order to stay up to date with new equipment and new ideas to best serve our growing patient population.
After 23 years of practicing with Dr. Bohlman, Dr. Cox moved from Johnson City to Colorado. With the large patient population to serve, Dr. Kelly Conyer joined the practice in November 2020 and has successfully found her place at TrueLight Eye Care.
